Out on the lake and it's 4C. Just got a board off roho, a Slalom V2 114 JP. Yes it's quick.

After 15 mins I came in to shake off the finger hots. Always a painful experience. Then back out and fine. Really good reaches. I had to make the straps wider and winder to stop my feet jamming in too tight. Also I was fiddling a lot getting the lines right.

The Broggies were watching a video of Dahab 2004, sat cosily around the woodburning stove. That was enticing, but no I think I'll try the new board instead.

John Mitch was out, a little French guy was lookin good on borrowed kit off Tony. After I packed, Mike G came out to scream around on his slalom 94 with what looked like a 7.5.

Tony said the air is quite dense today. My conclusion was the only dense thing around today was between my ears!
